The Best of 2014 on Gal on a Mission was a delicious year bringing in a loaded potato casserole, a yummy chicken and broccoli casserole, buffalo cauliflower bites, and more!
I cannot believe 2015 is already upon us, it is already the 5th! It feels a little strange typing or even saying 2015 and I am always catching myself. Even though I have no idea where 2014 went, I am really looking forward to a brand new year.
I will have to say for Gal on a Mission we had a very successful year and hoping to an even greater one this year. There are a lot of things that happened in 2014 like quadrupling our pageviews - woohoo! I still cannot get over that and would have never dreamed of it.
Words cannot express how grateful I am for having this little blog of mine and for you all. I am incredibly humbled and grateful for each and every one of you. Your feedback, support, and friendship means the world to me. There would be no blog without each and every single one of you! Now let's get to the top 10 recipes of 2014! I also love how you take the time of your busy life to leave me beautiful comments on the recipes and I really love hearing how delicious a certain recipe turned out for you.
With that being said, let's start the countdown of the top 10 recipe of 2014. It was a delicious one.
Top 10
When I first posted this recipe, I wasn't sure how you would love it. It definitely takes a little while longer to make from start to finish, but you all seem to love it and so do I. It's one of our favorites and we have it quite a bit. I am still in shock how many times this recipe has been pinned. Wow!
2.) Chicken, Broccoli, and Pasta Skillet Casserole
I am not surprised this one is the 2nd most viewed recipe because it is so easy to make! You can have dinner finished in hardly no time, even on a busy weeknight. Even as I am writing this, it is the top recipe currently at this time.
3.) Healthy Buffalo Cauliflower Bites
Even to this day, I remember making these and thinking to myself how they would actually turn out. I wasn't too sure because the hubby kept saying, "I am not sure about these." Boy, was he wrong! We love them and so do you. I really cannot wait to make another batch for the upcoming football games.
4.) Buffalo Chicken Spaghetti Squash
I would have to say, I think you all are fans of buffalo, so are we. I cannot wait to give you all more buffalo recipes. This recipe is still a winner in our family.
Talk about a recipe where you can really feed an army for hardly anything. This recipe is really a winner with me because it is so good and so much better than the store-bought version. This recipe isn't all that popular on social media, but with the search engines. If you are looking for a delicious recipe that is easy on the wallets and tastes delicious, this one is for you!
6.) Homemade Cream of Chicken Condensed Soup
I am a big fan of casseroles and they always seem to have cream of something in the ingredient list. It took me a couple of tries to nail this homemade version and it was so worth it! We haven't bought a can of cream of something in so long.
I can see why these delicious blondies made the list - one of my favorite blondies ever! They are so moist and oh, so yummy. I might have to say, they pair really well with a glass of milk.
8.) Zucchini Lasagna
This is a recipe where I need to make again and really soon, too. I cannot believe I almost forgot the beloved zucchini lasagna. It's really perfect if you are trying to cut out pasta and carbs!
10.) Soft-Baked Reese's Pieces Cookies
I will have to admit, these were by far my favorite cookies ever! They were thick and really soft, just the way I like them and the taste of the peanut butter and chocolate was great. I think we need to make another batch of these, or not, I might just eat them all.
