    This Air Fryer Asparagus recipe is the perfect side dish! It's so crispy and only requires two ingredients!

    Air fryer roasted asparagus is the perfect side dish to any meal! It's healthy, has so many nutrients, and is so sweet when it's in season. And the best part, it comes together in a few minutes and only has two ingredients!

    It's perfect if you are sticking to a low-carb/keto diet, paleo-friendly, Whole30, vegan, you name it!

    • Olive Oil - Not much oil is needed, especially in the air fryer!
    • Salt and Pepper - Everything needs a little salt and pepper.

    Trimming asparagus is so easy, here's everything you need to know about trimming asparagus:

    • Rinse asparagus under cold water and dry completely.
    • Trim the woody parts off your spears by snapping them; the woody part will break off naturally.
    • Toss the woody ends and season your asparagus.

    For 1 lb. of asparagus, there are two servings, 0.5 lbs each. There are 105 calories in each serving and 4.1 net carbs.

    Can you cook asparagus too long?

    Absolutely! Asparagus can overcook very quickly, so I only recommend air frying asparagus for 7 minutes. Overcooked asparagus gets very soggy and isn't pleasant to consume.

    How to cook asparagus in the air fryer?

    Once trimmed and prepared, rub oil and season the asparagus with salt and pepper. Cook for 7 minutes at 400℉ and serve immediately.

    Leftovers are my favorite! They save and reheat well. To save them, place them into a container once cooled to room temperature. Asparagus is good in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.

    • 1 tbsp olive oil

    Instructions
    1. Add your washed, dried, and trimmed asapargus to a medium mixing bowl.

    2. Add the olive oil, salt, and pepper onto the asparagus.

    3. Place seasoned asparagus into air fryer and cook for 7 minutes at 400°F.

    4. Serve immediately.
