These Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts are going to be your new favorite side dish! They are ultra-crispy and addicting. Only 4-ingredients are needed!

Ever since I fell in love with my air fryer, I have been air frying every single thing you can think of. And boy, these brussels sprouts are incredible in the air fryer! If you aren't a fan of brussels sprouts, please try them in the air fryer. They aren't your traditional mushy, boiled brussels sprouts!

You know you have perfected crispy brussels sprouts when you start popping them and snacking them like they are potato chips! Seriously, they are addicting and healthy!

What I love about this recipe:

✔ Crispy exterior. Let's say goodbye to mushy brussels sprouts!
    ✔ Only 4-ingredients are needed
✔ Incredibly healthy with only 57 calories per serving

what to serve with air-fried brussels sprouts

Air fryer brussels sprouts are perfect with almost any main dish you can think of! These brussels sprouts shine on their own without being weighted down with other ingredients, however, below are a few toppings you could add.

    TOPPINGS:

    ✔ Balsamic glaze
    ✔ Grated parmesan cheese

    MAIN COURSES:

All of my dinner recipes are here, but here are a few I think that would be delicious:

✔ Baked Lemon Pepper Chicken Breasts
    ✔ Perfect Oven-Baked Chicken Breasts
    ✔ 5-Ingredient Tex-Mex Chicken

ingredients needed for air fryer brussels sprouts

    • Brussels Sprouts - You will want to trim and halve the brussels sprouts. Some say you will need to soak your brussels sprouts before air frying, and I do not think it's necessary.
    • Olive Oil - Helps the brussels sprouts to become crispy, but since this is an air fryer recipe, you do not need as much oil.
    • Salt and Pepper - Sometimes, simple seasonings are all you need.

    frequently asked questions:

What temperature do you cook brussels sprouts in an air fryer?

I and tried many different temperatures and cooking times, and I have found 375℉ is perfect.

How do you make brussels sprouts not mushy?

Cook them in the air fryer! To make them even crispier, you will want to use a little bit of oil, but not much is needed.

Are air fried brussels sprouts healthy?

Yes! They have so many nutrients that our bodies need. They are high in fiber, minerals, and antioxidants.

Do you need to soak brussels sprouts before cooking?

Nope! I find soaking brussels sprouts not necessary.

    recipe shortcuts

Sometimes we are short on time and need to prep things ahead of time. Here are a few ideas that can help make this recipe even faster for you!

✔ Prep ahead – You can wash, trim, and halve the brussels sprouts ahead of time. However, there isn't much prepping ahead you can do besides cooking them for meal prepping.
✔ Cook ahead – I do not recommend air fryer or cooking brussels sprouts ahead of time because they can become mushy.
✔ Freezer meal – I do not recommend freezing brussels sprouts. They will lose their texture and become mushy.

    freezer meal instructions

I do not recommend freezing brussels sprouts.

    recommended tools

    • Air fryer - I love my Cosori air fryer!
    • Mixing Bowls
    • Measuring spoons

    leftovers

Leftovers are my favorite, but brussels sprouts aren't my favorite leftovers. They lose their texture and become mushy. If you do have extras, then you can place them into a container once cooled to room temperature. Brussel sprouts are good in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
