ingredients needed for air fryer brussels sprouts
- Brussels Sprouts - You will want to trim and halve the brussels sprouts. Some say you will need to soak your brussels sprouts before air frying, and I do not think it's necessary.
- Olive Oil - Helps the brussels sprouts to become crispy, but since this is an air fryer recipe, you do not need as much oil.
- Salt and Pepper - Sometimes, simple seasonings are all you need.

recipe shortcuts
Sometimes we are short on time and need to prep things ahead of time. Here are a few ideas that can help make this recipe even faster for you!
✔ Prep ahead – You can wash, trim, and halve the brussels sprouts ahead of time. However, there isn't much prepping ahead you can do besides cooking them for meal prepping.
✔ Cook ahead – I do not recommend air fryer or cooking brussels sprouts ahead of time because they can become mushy.
✔ Freezer meal – I do not recommend freezing brussels sprouts. They will lose their texture and become mushy.

leftovers
Leftovers are my favorite, but brussels sprouts aren't my favorite leftovers. They lose their texture and become mushy. If you do have extras, then you can place them into a container once cooled to room temperature. Brussel sprouts are good in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
