A super-moist, powdery deliciousness traditional snowball cookie. The holidays are not complete without snowball cookies.
Welcome to day four of the 10 Days of Cookies - Snowball Cookies! I am usually not a fan of snowball cookies because they tend to be very dry with hardly no taste. Not these bad boys!
I always see these types of cookies on a holiday cookie tray, but I just tend to stray away from them. My hubby who doesn't like snowball cookies at all said these were great and not dry at all. Woohoo... win for me! 🙂
Not only are they absolutely delicious, but you do not have to worry about these being hard to make. Super easy, trust me. You even do not have to worry about the dough chilling for a certain amount of time.
Don't these just look delicious with enough powdery goodness on top? Just pass me the cookies with a nice, big glass of milk. I'm happy. Very, very happy.
Another twist you could also do on these cookies is add some cocoa powder to the batter, then they would be for all of your chocolate lovers - like me! <3 Must. Try. That. Now.
With any type of cookies you only have to worry about the butter being softened to room temperature. After that all you have to do in mix the ingredients together and spoon onto parchment paper or a silicon baking mat, bake and roll in powdered sugar. Not much time at all.
This weekend we are supposed to be having a huge ice storm (fun) and I think I will just curl up with these delicious cookies, a huge glass of milk, and a great read. Sounds like a perfect day, doesn't it?

Dina - They definitely are! 🙂
I was just at a Christmas Tea this afternoon and they had the snowball cookies there. They were so good I am going to make them. Thank you for the recipe.
YUM! They are almost like powdered sugar donuts, but in cookie form. Pinning!
Nicole - Thank you so much for pinning! 🙂
Your snowball cookies look delicious! They remind me of cookies rolled in confectioner's sugar I used to make as a child, only they were made from peanut butter. I'm looking forward to giving these a try!
These all look so wonderfully delicious. I pinned your snowball cookies. Thx for sharing on Blog Strut!
Thank you so much, Janet!
