recipe tips and variations
- Storage - Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
- Reheating - Coleslaw does not need to be heated nor reheated.
- Switch up the sweetness - Add additional sugar if you prefer a sweeter coleslaw.
- Sugar Substitutes - Use any sugar substitute you prefer. I would recommend Swerve or Monk Fruit because it has a 1:1 equal ratio to granulated sugar.
- Milk - If you prefer slightly less thick and creamy coleslaw, reduce the mayonnaise and add whole milk.
- Celery Seed - I typically do not add celery seed to my coleslaw but try adding it; most people love it!
