For the big game day we decided we wanted to stay at home this year because the hubby wasn’t feeling well. We knew that both of us had a taste for chicken wings. What kind of game doesn’t include wings?
I also wasn’t in the mood for cooking at all! That was the last thing that I wanted to do.
So off to our local Walmart store we went. We usually go to Walmart for everything, so going there to pick up something quick and easy was ideal. I knew I wanted something tasty, quick and easy to make. It definitely had to be delicious.
I was browsing the frozen section and noticed the T.G.I Friday’s demo was going on. Definitely had to check that out!
I was so excited because I love T.G.I Friday’s Restaurant, but have never tasted their frozen appetizers. I have always wanted to and I thought this was a great way to try them.
The demo was great because we received the opportunity to taste the T.G.I Friday’s Loaded Cheddar and Bacon Potato Skins – amazing. They were definitely a great #TGIFGameDay appetizer!
After trying them at the demo we decided to pick up a box of the T.G.I Friday’s Loaded Cheddar and Bacon Potato Skins and a box of the T.G.I Friday’s Frozen Chicken Wings Honey BBQ Sauce.
About 30 minutes before the game started we decided we wanted to dig in to the great game day appetizers. We first put in the loaded cheddar and bacon potato skins because we thought those tasted amazing at the demo. They do not take too much time to cook – about 18 minutes or so. Perfect!
We loved them! You can leave them whole and take bites out of them while dipping them in your favorite sauce or cut them in half and then dip them. Filled with cheesy goodness.
After the loaded potato skins were finished cooking, we put in the crispy honey BBQ chicken wings in. I could not believe how crispy they actually were. Tasted like I was sitting down at the restaurant enjoying the game. I have never tasted frozen chicken wings before that were so great.
The Honey BBQ Sauce was amazing as well. Just enough sweetness and hotness. I will definitely be trying these again if I am looking for something delicious that is quick and easy. Thanks #CollectiveBias for introducing me to these wonderful appetizers.
