Lemon Butter Green Beans with Toasted Almonds Bacon & Feta - Fresh green beans coated in the most outrageous lemon butter sauce! They are salty, tangy, crunchy, and crispy! AKA the best green beans ever!
Place the oil and sliced almonds in a saute pan over medium heat and stirring to toast the almonds for 3-4 minutes. You will know when the almonds are toasted when they are a beautiful light brown color.
Season with a pinch of salt.
Fill a saute or a frying pan with water to bring to a boil.
Add the green beans, cover, and cook until green beans are tender, about 3-4 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt the butter and lemon zest in another saute or frying pan over medium heat.
Once the green beans are tender, drain and add them to the same frying pan as the melted butter and lemon zest.
Add the lemon juice and bacon and toss to combine.
Taste and season with salt and pepper, add the toasted almonds and stir to combine.
Garnish with crumbled feta cheese.
