Ingredients
  • 1 and ½ sticks unsalted butter melted
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 large egg + 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 and ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 7 pieces of bacon cooked and crispy
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a silicon baking mat.
  2. Melt the butter either in the microwave or on the stove.
  3. Mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated white sugar using a stand or a hand-held mixer.
  4. Add in the egg and egg yolk and mix thoroughly.
  5. Add in the vanilla extract and salt.
  6. Slowly mix in the flour, baking soda, and cornstarch.
  7. Fold in the cooked bacon and chocolate chips.
  8. Spoon the cookie dough onto the cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  9. Let cool for 2 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
Recipe Notes

Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for one week.
