Crockpot Crack Chicken is the perfect weeknight meal made with chicken, cream cheese, ranch seasoning, and bacon. The perfect freezer meal!

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 ranch seasoning packet
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup crumbled bacon
Instructions
  1. Place boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the crockpot.

  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning over the chicken breasts.

  3. Top with cream cheese. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the chicken can be easily shredded.

  4. Shred the chicken using two forks. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and bacon.

  5. Cover until the cheese is melted.

  6. Serve on buns, over rice, on top of mashed potatoes, etc. Garnish with scallions.

Recipe Notes

Storage - Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.

Reheating - To reheat, add the chicken mixture to a microwave-safe bowl and heat until warm. 

FREEZER INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Prepare all ingredients and place them into a freezer bag or freezer-friendly container.
  2. Freeze for up to 6 months.
  3. When ready to cook defrost chicken in the refrigerator for 24-48 hours until completely thawed.
  4. Place into the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
