As the leaves start to change colors and the weather starts to crisp up, you know caramel sauce will be slathered on absolutely everything. I love plain caramel sauce, but salted caramel sauce is delicious. Life is beautiful.
Every cookie, cake, coffee, ice cream…you name it will get a HUGE spoonful of caramel sauce – salted caramel as well. Maybe I just need to go to caramel rehab, HA. (:
I have had so many bad experiences with homemade caramel sauce before. I even made caramel rocks – tasted just like caramel, but were hard like candy. So many failed attempts.
As your parent’s always said when you were a child, “Practice makes perfect.” My friend, practice and patience are the key roles.
I love my caramel sauce thick, but not too thick. This is the perfect consistency, don’t ya think? 🙂
That is just pure delicious on that spoon. Come to mama! Am I the only one who can just eat this stuff right off the spoon?
