Beef and Broccoli {Gluten & Sugar-Free}

  • 3lbs flank steak
  • 1/2cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves,minced
  • 1tsp crushed red peppers
  • 1tsp ground ginger
  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1 head broccoli
  • glucomannan
  • Sesame seeds,garnish (optional)
  1. In a medium bowl combine the sliced beef, soy sauce, garlic, crushed red pepper, and ginger. Let marinade for 2-3 hours in the refrigerator.
  2. In a medium-to-large saucepan, place the marinaded ingredients and cook on medium until the beef is done.
  3. In a large pot, add water and place broccoli florets. Cook until tender.
  4. Using a food processor, place cauliflower florets and process until you obtain cauli rice. Does not take very long.
  5. Combine the broccoli into the beef mixture and let simmer for 10 minutes to let the flavors infuse in the broccoli.
  6. Using a tiny bowl, place a pinch of glucomannan with a splash of water and mix together. Add into the sauce and stir. Add as much as you need to obtain a thickness you like.
